Sell with Giltfree

Giltfree does not charge any merchant fees. Standard VISA transaction fees apply via your merchant services provider. 

We will provide you and your in-store team with a store kit to help you get started and promote Giltfree with confidence. Customer-related cases

If a customer sends you an enquiry relating to their Giltfree swap, you can direct them to our customer support page or encourage them to get in touch with our customer care team.

Giltfree will send customers a link via SMS with instructions on how to download their card. All they have to do is simply follow the prompts to download it to their Apple Pay or Google Pay wallet. 

Once your customer has activated their Giltfree digital VISA, they can spend it anywhere accepts VISA within Australia and overseas. Customers pay the currency conversion upon purchase.

The Giltfree digital VISA can be used anywhere that VISA is accepted so no payment gateway integration is required. Simply signal to your customers that you accept Giltfree and encourage them to participate and you can watch the sales roll in. We recommend having a look at our On-site Messaging and In-store Messaging pages for more on how to promote Giltfree.

Spending Giltfree

Spending Giltfree in-store is easy. Once customers add their card to their Apple Pay or Google Pay wallet all they have to do is tap to pay. 

Customers can pay online in one of two ways. They can choose to check out with Apple Pay or Google Pay and then select their VISA card from their digital wallet, or they can select VISA and enter their VISA card details manually. Customers can access their VISA card details on their True Rewards app.

Customers can check their up-to-date Giltfree balance and all their VISA card information on their True Rewards app.


Research from the Smithsonian Institute shows that recycling just one gold ring saves 20 tonnes of mining waste. We created a formula from this research to count the mining waste saved per transaction to help track the positive impact customers can have by swapping with Giltfree.

We test the jewellery with an X-ray machine to determines its true gold content down to a molecular level. Our gold is then valued at a universal price that changes every minute – ensuring customers are always getting the best value.

We couldn’t confidently ring the bell about sustainability unless we were completely transparent about our own supply chain. Our gold goes wherever gold is required: we supply gold to every corner of the gold supply chain, from jewellers to bullion companies. In short, our goal is to substitute mined gold for a recycled alternative wherever we can and as often as we can.
